Hit the inevitable wall of samurai and ninja classes on Disgaea 5 who can take out weaker classes easily. My party is very mage heavy, so now I'm having to rebalance and train. You can only grind on weaker levels, so my party isn't levelling very quickly. Oh well. Grinding is kind of fun here.
Rpgs, Disgaea 5
May. 15th, 2019 10:23 pmApparently, I'm playing one of the weaker Disgaea entries. 1 and 2 are lauded for their great comedic writing and anime plots. 5 is just sort of plodding along, assembling a plot out of stray ideas it picks up. But combat is fun, and I needed something more upbeat after 100+ hours of Persona 5. Doesn't stop my husband from calling me a weeaboo, though.
I had a dreamwidth account a few years ago, under the pen name Sakura's Sonata, but sadly that was right after I got out of the hospital. Since that account is long forgotten, I am Sakura's Nocturne now. I love Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, Fire Emblem, etc. Rpgs are what I stick to because my medication slows my reflexes, but I dabble in Smash Ultimate when I feel up to it. I'm a lurker and reviewer, not so much a writer, though I hope to get back into fan fiction writing someday.
